This tutorial was so much fun to make! It was inexpensive, simple, yet with big impact. These moss covered letters are perfect for your holiday decor, weddings, baby rooms, or really any time of year or occasion. I love the gold edging to add a little glitz to an otherwise rustic decor piece.
I am not doing a step by step picture tutorial this time, so make sure you watch the video for how I made this. Be sure to watch until the end to see a surprise cameo (a surprise to me anyway, haha =)!):
I firmly believe anyone can do this! Because honestly, while I am creative, I wouldn’t consider myself to be a crafty person. But if there is a certain design element I am wanting in a room, I will break out the craft supplies and get to work.
The moss was quite messy, but by the time you are through working with it, the excess shakes off, so don’t despair… just have a vacuum or broom handy for cleanup!
Here is the breakdown on the supplies I used and how much they cost me:
-1 sheet of moss from JoAnn’s: $6 (I used a 50% off Coupon)
-3 Wood Letters from Walmart: $3 ($1 each)
-Gold Craft pain on hand
-Navy Glitter Ribbon from JoAnn’s: $1 (It was 70% off on Black Friday and I only used 1/3 of the roll)
-Hot Glue and Duck Tape I had on hand
