Guest Post Feature: A Place for Us Blog

Destiny Alfonso from A Place for Us  was nice enough to put together a beautiful guest post for me while I was recovering from having a baby. Unfortunately, due my antiquated computer software, I was never able to open it. We tried several different approaches, but it never came to fruition. I feel bad because you missed out on her incredible design eye.

But I wanted to give her a shout out and show you some of my favorite photos from her blog so you can see the types of things you will see and learn on her lovely blog.

I love everything about her dining room from the slipcovered wing back dining chair to the wallpaper to the shiny mirror. It is beautiful and serene while being super chic.

Her formal living room attached to the dining room. From what I see, Destiny and I have a similar love of using bold graphic pattern in design.

How cute is this gray end table? You would never know it was a thrift store makeover.

She also offers great tutorials like these Ballard Designs coverless books.

Love the tall board and bat in her family room.

Maybe you have seen this picture before? I think this idea of her’s kind of went viral in the blog world… it is her original design.

If you get a chance, you should really stop by and check out her blog, you’ll be glad you did. Thanks Destiny for taking the time to write up the post that never was! I appreciate it.

Happy Wednesday,
