Debbie Worthen of Salt Lake City Writes:
…I watched you on Design Star. I didn’t know you did segments with Studio 5. I would love to send you a “Design Dilemma” wall I have. Are they supposed to be an entire room or can I send you one small wall (one wall or entire room are both okay)?
Here’s the wall. I love the shelves but am not sure what to do with them. This is in the master bedroom. Walls are seafoam, accents are black, white, crystal and silver. What I have here now are just ideas. Thanks! I can’t wait to hear what you have to say!
Beautiful wall color and I love the crystal vase! I think you have a great start already. Here’s what I think would look great in your particular situation. First off, I like the white flowers, however, I would love to see something little softer and more delicate. Maybe an orchid that drapes or hydrangeas? Then I would drop the bottom shelf down about 3 or 4 inches. I think something that could be really personal and classy is you and your husband’s names on the shelf in either a mirrored or chrome lettering.
(This looks a little juvenile in this setting.)
A less expensive option is to get letters from the craft store (they have a huge variety as well)… buy a high quality silver spray pain to get a look similar to this:
A big & in between your more spaced out shelves would be fun.
If none of these work… here’s a couple other shelf setups that are inspirational.
Hope this helps Debbie!
Would love to see a picture of what you decide on.
